Irans kärnprogram

En lösning med Iran angående deras kärnprogram borde fås till stånd senast i morgon 31 mars.
Det är ännu oklart om man kommer att nå en överenskommelse men det är klart att ifall en överenskommelse blir klar enligt de riktlinjer som nu är kända kommer det att vara många som blir besvikna.
Israels premiärminister säger att ett avtal skulle vara en belöning till Iran för dess aggressionspolitik.

...Turning to the recent unrest in Yemen, Netanyahu criticized negotiators from the P5+1 powers - the US, UK, France, Russia, China and Germany - for "turning a blind eye" to the Iranian-backed Houthi rebels that continue to occupy more territory in their pursuit to gain control of the country."

Det är inte lätt att förstå sig på terminologin gällande kärnkraft och kärnvapen program men här får man en del förklaringar:

Det verkar som om förhandlarna skulle vara beredda att låta Iran bryta mot det icke spridningsavtal som Iran tidigare undertecknat ( Non-Proliferation Treaty). Om så är fallet kommer det att få katastrofala följder eftersom det betyder att andra länder också kan anse sig ha rätt att bryta mot det.

Iran har inte hittills samarbetat fullt ut med IAEA och det finns inga orsaker att tro att de kommer att göra det i framtiden.

För en lekman står det helt klart att anrikning av uran i den omfattning som Iran håller på med inte har något med fredlig kärnkraftutveckling att göra. Alla länder har rätt att utveckla och använda  kärnkraft, ifall det är det Iran håller på med finns det ingen orsak för dem att bråka med IAEA så som man gjort.

David Horovitz på TheTimes of Israel hör till dem som är oroliga:

 The question this raises was articulated months ago in congressional testimony by nuclear weapons expert David Albright: “If Iran is able to successfully evade addressing the IAEA’s concerns now, when biting sanctions are in place, why would it address them later when these sanctions are lifted?” In its rush to complete a deal, the Obama administration appears eager to ignore the likely answer.
