President Trump har precis som sina föregångare använt sin rätt att skjuta på ett beslut av kongressen att flytta USA:s ambassad i Israel till Jerusalem.
Det här ett brott mot de löften han gav under sin valkampanj. Jag skulle ändå ha blivit mer förvånad om Trump skulle ha hållit sina löften och beslutat att ambassaden skall flyttas.
Sanning och hederlighet är nog inte något som betecknar Trump och beslutet är därför helt i linje med vad man kan förvänta sig.

"In January 2016, Trump told an interviewer that “they want it [the embassy] in Jerusalem. Well I am for that one hundred percent. We are for that one hundred percent.” Two months later, during a speech at the American-Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) annual policy conference, Trump declared to applause that if elected, “we will move the American embassy to the eternal capital of the Jewish people, Jerusalem.”
